Sonic Architects featuring Rafael Kalt

Allan Holdsworth and Kurt Rosenwinkel are two of the greatest jazz guitarists of all time. Both have profoundly shaped today's jazz scene. Sonic Architects are dedicated to this music and offer a fresh and unique interpretation. Influenced by this music, Mario Mauz ventured into composition himself, writing pieces inspired by the style of these jazz giants.

Colorful harmonies, unexpected melodic material, and complex rhythms characterize this music. Extensive improvisations bring the pieces to life, ensuring they sound fresh and different at every concert.
But the trio has something very special to offer. Rafael Kalt, a trumpeter from Aargau, joins the band and brings further exciting and explosive accents to the ensemble.
